Report on "Wag the Dog "

In our last Reading Media Text class we got the oppurtunity to watch the movie "Wag the Dog" which is basically based on the cynical sight of media and veracity.
It's not always necessary that which is shown in the mass media for the mass peopole is always the truth or always the reality.Atleast this movie got us thinking on the question of the authenticity of various broadcasts or of various issues.
Sometimes its some one else who is powerful enough to direct the media according to their self interests.In that case,the motivation for the mass people is a bit critical and predetermined to some extent.Some times the truth stays beyond our knowledge.The so called reality we get to know is just an eyewash.So, sadly it is set that,it is the media which constructs the reality not the the reality doing the vice versa all the time.

What do i think of this MSJ -211 course is all about?

Yeah, when i got to start this course i was thinking that it might be a course where we have to read some texts regarding madia.It will be more like a reading class of grade 3/4(sounds like that!!!!). That is why i was in very much confusion that what am i going to do with this course?But when we started attending our classes,something new came up into our vision.It is all about making us globalized.It is all about giving us a hand on new modern communication .It is all about making us stay connected to the world.





And now my expectations:-

By the end of this course......

1. My level of communication will be more intensified.
2. My arena of knowledge will be really broaden up.

and finally i will be able to have a good grade.HAHA.

What is insanity?I doubt....Sometimes the regular activities we do is called perfect,sometimes that very regular activity turns into lunacy.Isn't it determined by our mindset or isn't it our very own notion which makes us to think like that?

Say for example- when a very wealthy person gives a handsome amount of money to a poor orphan boy then it is called his GENEROSITY ,but alas !when a middle class person just think of it, it seems like he is gonna crazy .

Why this difference? Isn't it just the wealthy possessions we belong to and our stereotyped worthless mind?MAY BE or MAY NOT BE...

Just a simple evaluation.

My First Write Up in the BLOG...
